On A Timer

I ask this question to anyone who takes photos of themselves with their digital camera.

Do you use the timer on your camera? If not, why? Are you that lazy to find it that you'll risk making the "MySpace pose"? You know, the shot of yourself showing your arm extended out usually in the air?

I don't think using the timer is so bad. it's actually useful. Trust me.

My Perfect Match

Ok, that's not the reason of the post but, I do hate matches.

I guess since I'll be hitting 27 and reflecting on life, love is actually important. I guess.. So, just who do I need to match with to make them my 2nd player in Co-Op mode in the game of Life? I guess there's no preference. But, IF I had to make my choice... I guess she would have to be like me in a way. Oh, and honesty usually plays a key role for me.

I'd like to do all that sweet shit couples do. hold hands, talking about stupid shit and whatnot. Well, one thing I know is that I just may end up single.

I'm willing to deal with that. I have for 26 years. 26 more won't hurt.

I Should Be Paid To Review Games

I was thinking about this for a few days last week and I feel I should be paid to review games. If YouTube was only around back in the days of NES, SNES, Sega Genesis and other old school consoles. The point I'm hoping to make is this: If you want a honest review and not a paid phony review, who better than the actual public whom would know better? Remember about a year ago about the one guy at Gamespot who got fired for reviewing a game a low score than it should had got? If you do, then you know they said the game publishers was ready to throw a fit by removing their ads and whatnot. In essence, the power of money got someone fired for their honest thought of the game. What I'm saying is, Why can't regular gamers,no matter our gamer level, get paid to play games and give our opinions without any punishment?

Am I wrong for think this?

Do I need to fund my own gamer mag for this to happen or something?

Banjo-Kazooie Builds a Failboat

I don't have an Xbox, but I think this new Banjo-Kazooie game for the system will be a major letdown. I seen gameplay videos and the only thing they focus on it that you now build contraptions. That alone made me vow to not want an Xbox. I like the good days of the B-K series on the N64. Fun, easy, and funny. is that too much to ask for? One thing I saw on YouTube was the intros to the levels. That was kind of cool. Made the levels look like a TV show opening.

I don't care even if it's email. You won't miss anything. I'm sure of this. Don't even have your phone on.  No, Twitter, Plurk, Rejaw, FriendFeed, MySpace, Facebook and all the other social sites you're on. As with all other holidays, there are about spending time with your family. Are you saying your family is that bad that you rather be on Twitter all day or posting a new LOLcat on FriendFeed?

Maybe I'm posting this and people will actually catch on to this or maybe people are just so fucktarded that they will just be on their phone or computer all day during any holiday.

YouTube Knows How To Suck

YouTube has the right to remove videos that are violating some copyright shit but, this is nuts. Let me explain...

They email me, while I'm at work, that one clip out of two that I did was removed and blah, blah, blah...

So, after reading that email after I got off work, I went to my account and BAM! Account suspended. As I said, if YouTube feels the need to remove a video, then fine and dandy. But, here lies a problem now.

There's like so many clips from Sunday's episode of Family Guy of Stewie mimicking that one clip of the reporter falling while stomping grapes. Some got 6,000 up to 61,000 views. These clips were not removed now were these accounts suspended. My clips only made maybe 90+ views.

So, I ask you.... Why was my account suspended but it's ok for everyone else to slide past this rule? I would think FOX and YouTube would get everyone at one times but, I don't think they will even do it.

My Birthday And Shit

With my cakeday coming up, I'm sensing more anger towards everything than normal. That's somewhat ok with me this year. I have to renew my ID. Oy vey, that will be a bitch.

No snow so far.

Amazon got untill noon tomorrow to get my 1TB HD to me or I'll call them and DE-FUCKING-MAND they 2 day ship it for free.

Thanksgiving hasn't even past yet and the stench of Christmas is already here.

Hopefully, I'm going to be going back to school. I wanted to take some online classes since I work evenings but they don't have any as far as I know. I chose to take day classes but... I'll have to wait until September of 2009.

PC World's Top Ten Overrated Products

You may have seen this list in the November issue of PC World but, I want to toss my thoughts (or the lack thereof) on some.

1. OVERRATED: Touch interface (iPhone 3G) - UNDERRATED: A good keyboard (Sidekick 2008)

I kinda agree on this. Touch screens may be easier and the new thing to replace a mouse now that it's coming to computers but, it's way better to have some kind of keyboard. A PHYSICAL keyboard.

2. OVERRATED: The Wii - UNDERRATED: The PSP

Is it possible a Wii can be overrated when it's just about impossible to even get one after it came out in what, 2006? Possible. To me, the PSP is ok as an mp3 player, which is how I use mines, but, the games are.... "eh".

3. OVERRATED: Mini-notebooks - UNDERRATED: Ultraportable laptops

4. OVERRATED: iTunes downloads - UNDERRATED: Pandora and Slacker

I have a Pandora account and it's a nice service. I do agree iTunes is overrated. People now are being to dependent on getting music from there. *COUGH*torrents*COUGH*

5. OVERRATED: Facebook - UNDERRATED: Multiply

Never heard of or used Multiply but i want to know is why MySpace wasn't included as overrated?

6. OVERRATED: iPod Touch - UNDERRATED: Zune

Just about anything Applewise is overrated but, I think the Zune is slightly stupid. No reason why. I just do.

7. OVERRATED: Google Apps  - UNDERRATED: OpenOffice 3.0

8. OVERRATED: Photoshop CS3 - UNDERRATED: Paint.NET

Paint.NET = MS Paint with more options

Wrong. It's just... wrong! Vista is shit so, how is it underrated?

Gary V vs. Howard Stern: My Thoughts

I don't know why and I don't know how but, Gary Vaynerchuk of Wine Library TV went on an attack against Howard Stern. I'm not going to explain it all. You can read his post here.

Now, here's what i want to say: No one cares, really. To make it worse, it's only on part of what you heard about. Yes, social networking is a great tool but, not everyone knows about most of these sites. My mom knows about Facebook and MySpace but only because someone gets killed, raped or whatever and is reported on 20/20, Dateline and other news outlets on tv.

To say Stern don't know what Facebook is by him calling it "MyFaceSpace" is ridiculous. The only reason he knows about them is because his daughters are on them. I guess being a good parent and being in your kids lives these days come with punishment.

Side note: I just ordered my copy of "Too Fat To Fish" the book and CD by Artie Lange. :D

What was I saying? Oh... Stern is like in his 50's. I highly doubt  needing to know all the social tools of today are #1 on his do to list.

I would go longer but, I have gas like crazy and I need to work on my book.

Ex-Gamer, I Am

No, I'm not giving up video games. Just, I wish I was into gaming now like I was when I was younger. When it was just the NES, SNES, Sega, that was kick ass. I used to always know everything because of EGM, Nintendo Power, and other gaming mags back then.

Now, I almost sigh at the sight of another Mario sports game or another Sonic game that makes no sense to me. One thing I'm pissed about is the new Banjo-Kazooie game. That's a whole separate post.

Games today are almost too advanced for me. I tried to play Guitar Hero in a store and I just couldn't get it. A kid, no more than 12 maybe, tried to show me how to play it. Seriously... If a 12 year old has to show a 26 year old how to play something that should be somewhat simple, all hope is lost.

Shooting games are still fun to me. Tho, I tend to shoot whatever is moving. Friend, foe, random cows...
